  1. This is sign appear on a plastic bag carries a lap-top charger cable. it is a Low Density Polyethylene (PELD). It is a thermoplastic made from the monomer ethylene. It is produced through high pressure process called free radical polymerization. The EPA estimates 5.7% of LDPE (recycling number 4) is recycled. Despite competition from more modern polymers, LDPE continues to be an important plastic grade. Its density range of 0.910–0.940 g/cm3
It has high resistance to dilute and concentrated acids, alcohol, bases. it is used to produce flexible containers like milk and juice cartoons, carry bags and some computer hardware components.

  2. Good resistance to Aldehydes, Ketones and Vegetable Oils, It has a limited resistance to Aliphatic and Aromatic Hydrocarbons, Mineral Oils and Oxidizing Agents and a poor resistance and not recommended for use with Halogenated Hydrocarbons
